macOS install
Your download is starting…
Because Pin Paper isn't notarized by Apple yet, macOS blocks it the very first time you open it. It's completely safe — you just need to allow it once. Here's how.
Downloading Pin Paper for Mac. If it doesn't begin automatically, click here to download.
Open it in 5 steps
You only have to do this the first time. After that, Pin Paper opens like any other app.
- Open the downloaded Pin Paper .dmg file, then drag the Pin Paper icon into your Applications folder.
- Open Applications and double-click Pin Paper. macOS shows a warning that it "cannot verify" the app — click Done. (Do not click Move to Trash.)
- Open System Settings → Privacy & Security.
- Scroll down to the Security section. You'll see "Pin Paper was blocked to protect your Mac." Click Open Anyway.
- Confirm with Touch ID or your password, then click Open Anyway once more. Pin Paper launches. 🎉
On older macOS (Sonoma and earlier)? You can skip System Settings: in Applications, right-click (or Control-click) the Pin Paper icon, choose Open, then click Open in the dialog.
"Pin Paper is damaged and can't be opened"
Occasionally macOS quarantines an unsigned app and reports it as "damaged." It isn't — this clears the quarantine flag. Open Terminal (Applications → Utilities) and run:
xattr -cr /Applications/Pin\ Paper.app
Then open Pin Paper normally.
